Some changes to note...
We will be adding two additional 4th grade teachers to accommodate the larger than normal class size our incoming group of students. These positions will be filled by Kathy Pattillo and Kelly Lawson. The positions will more than likely cycle up with this group of students through 5th and 6th grade in order to keep class sizes manageable.
With the addition of two teachers, we need to find a couple of classrooms. We will be moving the Trust room up to the classroom near the office. This will displace Officer Carpenter, so we are looking to locate him in the small workroom in 6th grade hall. We are also going to move our Fun room across the hall into the old Home Ec room (with some modifications).
We are also adding a SPED room to serve students who aren't quite ready for Resource room, but maybe don't fit in the Fun room. This class will be located in our current ISS overflow room. The teacher for this class has yet to be determined.
Read 180 will be an option for you to use in your classroom with a select few students. Candace and Peggy will be doing interventions much the way they are being done by Brandy down in 4th grade. Lois will be assigned to 4th grade only.

Shauna Chilton is a new hire for 5th grade ELA/Social Studies.
Bethany Noles will be leaving us.
Alexa Kilgore will be moving over to 6th grade ELA/Social Studies.
Brooke Sheppard is a new hire for 6th grade Math/Science.
Charlene Mills is a new hire for 6th ELA/Social Studies.
Charissa Armstrong is a new hire for 6th grade Math/Science.
Kim Davis will be moving to STEM.
Keri Jameson will be leaving us.
Craig Hamilton will be enjoying retirement.
Janet Payne will be a new hire in Music.
Annette Riley is transferring to Art.
Denise Hatch is transferring to the beach.
Denise Nichols is retiring.
Susan Schalk will be spending all of her time at O'Neal.
There are a few spots that still need to be taken care of, but we are working on them.

This is a fantastic lead in to a discussion on vision. Someone had a vision for this place and through hard work and perseverance, their vision paid off. We can do the same thing here.
