So my weekly blog has been missing for about a month. I apologize and I hope you haven't missed my weekly nuggets of wisdom too much.
October 25 is our next Collaboration Day. Once again, we will be joining with our friends from the Junior High, but this time we will be doing active shooter training at Kay Porter Theater. Of course we will start the morning off with a hot breakfast from Chartwells, but the location for that has yet to be determined.
Lunch is on your own, but remember that we are having our first ever PBMS Chili Cook Off. Get your team together if you haven't already. (Sign up) You need to provide enough chili and sides for your whole team and have some samples for our taste testers. There is also a place for people to sign up and bring desserts. Drinks are on your own. If you don't want to participate in the Chili Cook Off, lunch is on your own.
The afternoon will be spent meeting with your teams to review data and plan.
Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up on October 23. You should have access to all of the forms you need, but if you don't, let Nancy or me know. For some of you, this is your first time doing conferences. Here is a resource if you need it.
We usually have some sort of food ready for you all, so remember to schedule yourself a break to eat.
If you have a neat activity going on in your classroom, be sure to let one of our Facebook people know. Send us pictures and a description of what is going on for the post. This is an opportunity for us to get a positive message out.
Instagram coming soon!
