Remember how I said things may change with staffing, well they have.

We have had a couple of last minute retirements and resignations which has caused some shifting of the plan I rolled out last week.

Morgan Barks is still moving to 5th grade, but her partner will be Tomi Wagner. Tomi is a new teacher who student taught at Oak Grove.

Kim Walter is still moving to 6th grade, but her partner will be Mariah Boeving. Karissa Little will be partnering with Charlene Mills and Holly Owings will be moving to 6th grade math. Her partner will be Kaci Garner. Kaci has been working as a para at our Early Childhood Center.

There could still yet be changes to the line up before the end of the school year.

I have been talking to more and more of you about trying to incorporate Project Based Learning into your teaching. Everything I have read suggests that it increases student engagement and excitement. What I haven't read is a clear cut way of doing it. Here is an article about how to do it, and here is a video about what it is.

Once MAP testing is over, it would be a good time to experiment with an activity like this. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
